Oh man, after the split-self weirdness of last week, Ep 5 dives headfirst into pure, unadulterated chaos… and I am here for it.
That fortune cookie hook? Simple genius, spinning a ridiculous “what if fate was just corporate BS” into a riotous Jerry-Rick buddy romp that’s equal parts mindless mayhem and sly digs at predestination porn.
The action pops like a bad omen, with every over-the-top fight and gross-out twist landing harder than the last, all while keeping the heart in Jerry’s freakout. Voices are on point, animation’s a fever dream of corporate hell, and those pop-culture nods? Chef’s kiss.
It’s the kind of episode that doesn’t pretend to be deep but sneaks in just enough bite to make the laughs stick.
Total palate cleanser – 8/10, proving R&M can do dumb and brilliant in the same breath.
