Season 6 has been an absolute banger from start to finish, and Ep 10 sticks the landing exactly the way this year needed: big dumb fun, genuine heart, and just enough canon momentum to make you scream at the screen when the credits hit.
It’s not the mind-blowing apocalypse of some past finales, but it’s the perfect cozy-yet-chaotic Christmas card from a show that finally feels comfortable in its own skin again. The action pops, the jokes land, the family actually feels like a family, and that last 30 seconds? Chef’s kiss evil-genius tease for Season 7.
Roiland goes out swinging with some of his warmest, funniest work yet, and the whole crew clearly had a blast sending this season off. After the rollercoaster we just rode, a heartfelt, high-energy 8/10 closer is exactly what the doctor (or the drunkest scientist in the multiverse) ordered.
Merry Rickmas, indeed.
