Ep 12 is a great way to end the first season. What really worked for me was how naturally the episode handled awkwardness- not forced, not exaggerated, just the kind of uncomfortable moments everyone remembers from growing up.
The show plays these scenes with a light touch, letting the humor come from how recognisable the situation is rather than big jokes. It also makes the message clear without preaching or getting sentimental. Bobby’s uncertainty is portrayed in a way that feels honest and funny at the same time, and the supporting moments around him add warmth without distracting from the core story.
As a finale, it lands exactly where it should: a small, personal story that leaves the season on a confident high.
