Ep 9 is one of those entries that reminds you how much a strong finish can reshape an experience.
The middle stretch does feel a bit predictable – almost like the script is circling familiar territory – but it never slips into boredom, thanks mostly to the cast keeping things lively. And then the final act arrives and pulls everything into focus with a surprisingly clean emotional and narrative snap. It’s the kind of ending that makes you reconsider the slower bits and appreciate how the episode set up its final punch.
