Things are finally starting to move. While the show still spends a lot of time on teenage relationship drama and “who dumped who,” the actual mystery is gaining some much-needed weight. It’s a bit frustrating to watch the group stay separated for so long, but the different clues are starting to point toward the same dark place.
The highlights for me were the moments where the show stopped trying to be funny and leaned back into the creepiness. The last ten minutes really save the episode, offering a few genuinely chilling reveals that make the stakes feel real again.
It’s a solid step up, and it finally feels like the danger is closing in on Hawkins. 7.5/10.
