Peggy’s Fan Fair is a well-rounded and entertaining Season 4 finale, even if it doesn’t deliver the dramatic cliffhanger punch of the previous two finales.
Instead, it leans into character-driven comedy, giving Peggy a strong showcase that ties together many of her defining traits – her confidence, competitiveness, and yes, even her long-running foot insecurity. The Nashville setting adds energy, and the ensemble cast is used effectively, with Hank playing steady counterbalance to Peggy’s escalating conviction.
While it lacks the high-stakes ending of earlier seasons, it succeeds as a satisfying, self-contained character piece.
A solid 7.5/10 that closes the season on humour and personality rather than shock.
