Ep 12 delivers a refreshing Bobby-centric story that finally breaks away from some of the more repetitive beats his character has been stuck in lately. The premise gives Bobby a different kind of spotlight, allowing for a mix of humour and character exploration that feels both new and engaging.
The comedy lands well, particularly through the central gimmick, while still grounding the episode in the show’s usual emotional core. There are a few uneven elements – Dale’s role feels slightly off compared to his usual characterization – but they don’t derail the overall experience.
What stands out is how the episode balances novelty with familiarity, giving Bobby room to evolve without losing what makes him work. It’s a strong entry that feels more creative than most recent Bobby outings. 7.5/10.
