I have been in Peggy’s shoes as a fake Spanish speaker and I have been in Hank’s position with someone trying to get in my pants, so this episode feels incredibly personal. It is a 9/10 classic that weaponizes Peggy’s delusional ego for peak comedy.

The trial scene is legendary, especially when her defense rests entirely on proving she is a linguistic disaster. If you have ever cringed while faking your way through a second language, Peggy’s “reasonable horse” testimony hits home with painful accuracy.

The subplot is equally sharp, featuring a fantastic guest turn by Kathy Bates. Hank’s absolute obliviousness to being hit on is a stroke of genius; his line about not even mentioning propane as proof he wasn’t flirting is easily one of the best. From the chaotic chicken-slaughtering scene to Peggy’s “commendation” at the end, the episode moves at a lightning pace.

8.5/10: It is an elite entry that handles relatable situations with perfect Arlen logic.
