This is a decent entry that offers a clever subversion of typical country club tropes. The parody of the Sriracha hot sauce tycoon is a standout highlight, adding a sharp layer of satire to the “high life” at Nine Rivers.
However, the episode suffers slightly from repetitive pacing; it feels like the writers extended the “token white guy” joke for too long without introducing enough secondary plot threads to keep things fresh. While it is satisfying to see Hank stand up to Ted Wassanasong’s condescension, the narrative feels a bit thin by the final act.
It remains a solid watch for the social commentary, but it doesn’t quite reach the complexity of the season’s best.
