The Sheldon-Beverly bonding was absolute gold – two emotionless logic machines connecting instantly just felt right and hilarious.
It also did a great job showing why Leonard is the way he is by giving us a clear look at his cold upbringing. Christine Baranski fits the role perfectly as Leonard's mom. The contrast between her icy personality and the group's awkward reactions created some of the best laughs this season. Even the quieter moments between Leonard and Penny felt natural.
7.5/10: Not the loudest episode, but smart, funny, and surprisingly insightful.
