This episode really worked for me. The guys turning into drooling idiots around the new neighbor Alicia was predictable but still pretty funny to watch.
What stood out more was the subtle and careful way they handled Penny realizing she might have been doing the same thing to the guys all along – that emotional beat felt real. But my favourite moment was Penny defending her friends by throwing out a Star Trek reference about shields. It was such a great payoff showing how much she's picked up from hanging around them.
The whole thing felt balanced and sharp. Strong character moments and a solid 8/10.
