This episode really shows the series hitting its stride. The pacing feels natural now, and the 1930s world keeps looking richer with every scene. The investigation twists keep things engaging without feeling forced, and bringing in characters like Tombstone and Sandman adds fresh layers to the story.
Cage is locking into the role nicely, mixing smart detective work with that growing heroic spark. The little spider mask light bulb switch moment was a cool, clever touch. I’ve been switching between black-and-white and colour versions too – both look fantastic, and the colour grading has that old-movie warmth that fits perfectly.
Overall, it’s the strongest one yet. The flow, atmosphere, and building intrigue have me fully invested. 8.5/10 and climbing.
