After that cracking Season 9 premiere, I was pumped for more, but Ep 2 totally lost me.
“Ricks Days, Seven Nights” felt like an early-season filler that went off the rails in the worst way… the memory-wipe Ted vacation concept had potential, but where the hell was the humour? It traded the usual crude chaos for a bittersweet, kinda depressing identity crisis that just dragged without enough laughs to balance it.
Ian Cardoni did solid work switching between personas, and the Office guest stars were a fun nod, but it all felt purposeless and surprisingly flat.
4/10: Nowhere as strong as the opener at all, and honestly one of the weakest episodes in recent memory – even some Season 8 lows had more energy. Bummer after the long wait.
