This was another just-okay episode for me, though it was somewhat saved by that massive twist ending.
I’m honestly struggling with how they are writing Bode this season. He used to be so smart and resourceful back in Season 1, so it’s frustrating to watch his character constantly make such silly choices just to force a plot point.
At the same time, the whole Gideon arc is just going nowhere, making the main threat feel pretty stagnant. Luckily, Nina’s heavy Head Key subplot brought some genuine emotional weight, and seeing Dodge hijack the timeline at the last second injects some much-needed energy.
6.5/10: decent entertainment, but I really need the writers to pick up the slack on the main story.
