This season is firing on all cylinders after that shoddy Ep 2 stumble.
Ep 6 “Erickerhead” is another great one – the wacky head-vs-body concept is peak Rick and Morty insanity, with the two halves literally warring while Morty and Summer scramble to fix the mess. Jokes land hard amid the surreal chaos, and it peels back layers on Rick’s self-destructive core in a way that feels raw but still hilarious. Ian Cardoni absolutely kills the dual performance, and the Lynch-inspired weirdness fits perfectly.
Stronger than Ep 4’s darker turn and right up there with the kung fu and worm episodes. This new voice cast era is hitting its stride.
