This was a good episode but not one of the standout ones when measured against TBBT's high standards. The first half felt pretty similar to the previous Beverly visit episode, with Leonard's mom hitting it off with Sheldon again.
The second half added some nice layers, especially the scenes with her and Penny at the bar and later conversations. Those moments gave the episode more depth and some genuine emotional beats.
7.5/10: Overall it's solid and worth watching, but it doesn't reach the funniest or most memorable highs of the season.
