Ep 11 “Boxing Luanne” is a genuinely fun episode, and the second half absolutely delivers with hilarious moments and surprisingly good action. 7.5/10.
I really dug the peppy background music used during Luanne’s initial rigged fights; it perfectly captured that cheesy, over-the-top sports montage vibe. Having George Foreman and his family actually show up was a massive win for the show.
What stood out most to me, though, was how organic the jokes felt. The back-and-forth between Hank’s propane pride and the Foreman Grill never felt forced or like cheap product placement – it just flowed naturally from Hank’s character. Luanne finally getting to prove her toughness in the ring gave the episode a great, empowering payoff.
