Ep 12 “Vision Quest” is a solid episode that ingeniously weaves the Dale, Redcorn, and Joseph dynamic back together through the clever device of everyone’s wilderness visions.
The absolute highlight is Bobby’s exhaustion-induced stinger, hallucinating as a panda celebrity panelist on The Hollywood Squares – pure, absurd comedy gold. But the real brilliance lies in Dale’s fever dream. His vision of a Native American man making love to Nancy isn’t just a random joke; it heavily implies that on some deep, subconscious level, Dale actually knows about the affair and Joseph’s true parentage. His brain just twists the trauma into him being an “albino buffalo.”
7.5/10: It’s a sharp, layered payoff that gives this episode genuine weight beneath the laughs.
