What a fitting way to close out Season 9. The season as a whole wasn’t perfect, but it was consistently stronger and more inventive than Season 8.
Ep 10 “Field of Dreams” isn’t the usual big action-packed finale – it’s deeper, more introspective, and darkly funny in the best Rick and Morty way. Morty’s multiverse journey hits emotional notes while still delivering those signature twisted laughs and clever twists.
Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden continue to shine, especially in the alternate versions that make the whole thing land so hard.
This finale feels rewatchable as hell and leaves you thinking about the characters long after. The ending sequence of this episode left me shocked
8.5/10: Solid, engaging closer that sticks the landing.
