I loved this episode! It has the perfect mix of humour and genuine character moments, particularly in the way it explores the relationship between Penny and her father. Wyatt's affection for Leonard, and Penny's embarrassment at having to pretend they are back together, make for some wonderfully funny moments while quietly revealing how much her father's approval matters to her.
Leonard is only too happy to play along, of course, and I genuinely thought this might finally lead to him and Penny getting back together. Not quite yet, it seems! The final conversation between Wyatt and Leonard was especially good, adding another layer to the story without losing the comedy.
Meanwhile, the Raj-Howard telescope subplot was a nice change of pace. Raj's fantasies about scientific fame and his admission about his loneliness were funny but also revealing, and the unresolved ending leaves me curious about what really happened that night.
8.5/10: A very well-made episode that balances laughs and character development beautifully.
