Ep 7 was just okay for me. The writers went a bit too far overboard. When the chaos gets pushed that far, the jokes stop landing consistently.
That quick Benihana joke was hilarious, though. I loved that moment, but it ended way too quickly. I really wanted more of that clever humor throughout the episode.
Instead, we got Ryan having a massive meltdown over some Girl Scouts. It felt too silly and exhausting after a while. I will give them credit for the ending with the printed essay. That was a sweet touch for the crew.
It is definitely not a terrible episode, but it needed more balance to really work. 6/10.
