This episode turns out to be another really fun entry, built around a surprisingly clever murder motive tied to sports memorabilia values. I loved the puzzle of Hammond's cryptic dying words and deciphering "Girls Can't Eat Fifteen Pizzas" was classic Monk deduction that hit just right.
The baseball backdrop keeps the pacing lively, and seeing a pre-Office Rainn Wilson pop up as the obsessive collector was a fantastic guest appearance that added extra weight to the villain role.
7/10: It might not quite reach the top tier of the series, but the sharp motive and solid puzzle make it a thoroughly enjoyable watch.
