A strong way to close the season. Where the last episode left me lukewarm, this one had me fully back in. After a slightly flat run-up, the finale pulls everything back together and finally feels like the story I know from the animated series. That return to the original path is what won me over.
The action is big and well made, and the emotion lands properly this time, not rushed or squeezed in between set pieces. It gives the moments room, and that makes the whole episode hit harder. Nothing felt wasted.
It also sets up Season 2 politely, without shouting about it, and that confidence works. I'm leaving this season more optimistic than I was a couple of episodes ago.
8.5/10: Anyone who loved the original should feel at home here. Not perfect, but this is the best this live-action version has felt. Season 2 can't come soon enough.
