The opening scene with the ridiculously low lawsuit payout is hilarious, and from there, the episode just goes from bad to worse in a totally ludicrous, funny way.
Jen’s job interview is a standout moment; her sheer panic over not knowing what “IT” actually stands for, followed by her desperate bathroom call to a concussed Moss, is superb character comedy.
But the absolute best thing for me was Roy’s wardrobe. Going from the “series of tubes” shirt to the “Ludovico Technique” tee perfectly captures his descent into absolute chaos. Watching him strip down, accidentally interrupt a solemn memorial service, and end up begging on the streets for 50p is peak physical comedy.
The writing brilliantly deconstructs their usual basement dynamic by throwing each of them into isolated, escalating disasters.
8/10: It is sharp, absurd, and relentlessly entertaining.
