This episode is solid, funny, and absolutely ROFL in the best, most twisted way possible.
I loved the sheer absurdity of the boys building an elaborate biohazard-style containment center just to study a paper fortune teller. The escalation is perfectly paced, but the real highlight for me was how darkly hilarious the whole fake suicide and funeral sequence turned out. Watching Linda Stotch throw herself on a pig carcass coffin is peak South Park shock humour. The Pet Sematary spoof buried in the subplot adds such a great layer of macabre comedy.
I also really appreciated how the episode didn't shy away from showing how mean girls can be when bullying a new kid, making Butters' eventual breakdown and makeover genuinely funny. The theft of the device and Kenny's apocalyptic disposal of it wrap up the chaos perfectly.
8.5/10: It is sharp, unapologetically dark, and endlessly entertaining.
