Ep 6 improves slightly over the previous installment, but the first half still suffers from noticeable drag. The internal mole subplot drags out for a bit too long; while it is critical to the legal war, the writers could have wrapped up the revelation much cleaner than this drawn-out office paranoia.
Still, the tension picks up at the end as we head to the courtroom and with a sharp twist.
Sienna Miller and Dominic West keep the emotional stakes grounded, while James McArdle and Phoebe Fox do solid heavy lifting as the pressure mounts before court.
With only two episodes left in the season, I hope the narrative finally picks up the pace and delivers two pure, unfiltered courtroom episodes to cross the finish line.
