Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem poster

Watching Mutant Mayhem with my daughter was a blast, her first TMNT adventure earning a well-deserved 8/10 for its vibrant energy and heart.

The art & animation is a standout, with a comic-book-inspired style that mixes gritty textures with dynamic, colorful visuals, capturing the Turtles’ youthful spirit in every frame.

The voice cast shines brightly, led by Jackie Chan as Splinter, whose humor and warmth add surprising depth to the rat sensei. The young actors (Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon, Shamon Brown Jr., and Micah Abbey) nail the teenage banter as Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, their chemistry feeling authentic and lively. Maya Rudolph and John Cena deliver memorable supporting roles, adding extra spark.

The story balances heart and chaos, following the Turtles’ quest for acceptance while facing off against the villainous Superfly. Action sequences are a highlight, blending martial arts with wild mutant mayhem that kept us both glued to the screen.

Though the plot treads familiar ground, its emotional core and sharp humor make it a thrilling ride, perfect for new fans and longtime lovers alike.
