Oh man, Death Becomes Her is a wild, campy blast that had me howling… 8/10, and I’m obsessed!
Meryl Streep as Madeline, a vain actress, and Goldie Hawn as her rival Helen are comedy gold, chugging a potion for eternal youth and diving into a deliciously deranged feud. Bruce Willis as Ernest, their poor sap of a fiancé, is so adorably flustered, I couldn’t stop rooting for him.
Streep’s diva meltdowns and Hawn’s scheming smirks had me in stitches, while Isabella Rossellini’s witchy vibe gave me chills. Robert Zemeckis directs this chaos like a maestro, with Industrial Light & Magic’s groundbreaking CGI making every twisted moment pop. Dean Cundey’s visuals scream Hollywood glamour, though the story slows a smidge in the middle.
This satire of vanity and immortality is a total gem – watch it and cackle!
