Interstellar

Interstellar is a jaw-dropping sci-fi epic that hit me hard, earning a 7.5/10!

Matthew McConaughey’s Cooper, a dad turned astronaut, had my heart breaking as he ventures through a wormhole to save humanity from a collapsing Earth. That docking scene before the interval? Pure magic, heart-pounding and perfectly timed. McConaughey’s raw emotion had me tearing up, and Jessica Chastain’s grown-up Murph brought fiery heart. Anne Hathaway’s Brand felt a bit stiff, but Michael Caine and a surprise Matt Damon nailed their roles.

Christopher Nolan’s direction, paired with Hoyte van Hoytema’s cosmic visuals, made every planet feel alive… those waves on Miller’s planet still haunt me! Hans Zimmer’s organ-heavy score is a soul-stirring beast.

The Nolans’ script weaves love and physics, but it could’ve been a 9/10 with 10 minutes trimmed and a less convoluted ending that left me scratching my head. The science got heavy, slowing things down a touch.

Interstellar’s mix of heart, wonder, and ambition makes it a must-watch. It’s not perfect, but it’s a cosmic ride that hit me hard and left me thinking. Watch it and feel the universe!
