War is a step up for Bollywood action cinema – a slick, high-stakes thriller that rivals Hollywood spy films.
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are electric as mentor and protégé turned adversaries, their chemistry and action sequences setting a new benchmark. The film’s globetrotting scale, jaw-dropping stunts, and emotional depth make it a must-watch.
Siddharth Anand’s direction is bold and ambitious, blending espionage, betrayal, and brotherhood into a gripping narrative. The action is unmatched, from hand-to-hand combat to large-scale set pieces, and the twists keep you hooked until the climax.
While the plot occasionally sacrifices logic for spectacle, the film’s style, performances, and adrenaline-pumping action more than make up for it.
War isn’t just a standalone thriller… it’s a crucial chapter in the YRF Spy Universe, tying into the awesome Tiger series and hinting at bigger connections. If you love spy thrillers with heart and spectacle, War is unmissable.
7.5/10: a blockbuster that redefines Bollywood action.
