A Thrilling Spy Saga with Too Many Flashbacks
Tiger 3 is a high-energy, action-packed addition to the YRF Spy Universe, with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as Tiger and Zoya. The film delivers spectacular action sequences, emotional flashbacks, and a gripping conspiracy, but it stumbles with uneven pacing and an overemphasis on India-Pakistan brotherhood, which feels forced and distracting.
Salman Khan is charismatic as ever, though the flashbacks disrupt the film’s momentum. Katrina Kaif shines in the emotional scenes, but her character’s development feels rushed. Emraan Hashmi is a standout as the villain, bringing intensity and depth to his role. Shah Rukh Khan’s guest appearance as Pathaan is thrilling but feels tacked on, breaking the narrative flow.
The action is top-notch, and the global scale of the film is impressive. However, the political messaging and forced camaraderie between India and Pakistan undermine the story’s tension.
Despite its flaws, Tiger 3 is entertaining and visually stunning, making it a worthy entry in the YRF Spy Universe.
8/10: as good as Pathaan, but not at the top level of Tiger Zinda Hai… could have been much better with tighter pacing and less preachiness.
