Yudhra

I got hyped for Yudhra, expecting an action-packed thrill, but despite some cool scenes, it left me yawning, barely hitting a 5/10.

The story is about Yudhra (Siddhant Chaturvedi), a fiery dude diving undercover to take down a drug cartel. But they take 40 min to even start with this main story, instead overdoing the background, which is done quite flimsily.

Ravi Udyawar’s direction delivers slick fight scenes, and Jay Pinak Oza’s gritty visuals had me hooked at first. But the script by Shridhar Raghavan, with Farhan Akhtar’s dialogues, started strong then nosedived into a predictable snooze… honestly, that “big twist” at the end was so obvious I groaned.

The 140-minute slog felt eternal, with Tushar Parekh and Anand Subaya’s choppy edits making it jarring. Siddhant’s raw energy kept me glued, and Malavika Mohanan’s spark was awesome, while Raghav Juyal’s creepy villain gave me chills. But talents like Ram Kapoor got barely a cameo, which stung.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s music was decent, yet the tired story and awkward pacing killed my vibe.

Yudhra could’ve been a blast but fizzled with a weak plot… skip it unless you’re desperate for action.
