Toy Story

Toy Story is where Pixar’s magic truly began.

Rewatching it was like revisiting the moment animation grew up. The film may look simple now, but its storytelling still sparkles… a perfect mix of humor, warmth, and emotional honesty. Woody’s jealousy and Buzz’s delusion about being a “real” space ranger remain brilliantly written and instantly relatable.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen bring heart and wit to their roles, making the film soar beyond its digital novelty. What surprised me on rewatch is how sharp the pacing and dialogue still feel– not a wasted frame.

It’s funny, touching, and quietly profound about change, friendship, and growing up.

Verdict: A groundbreaking 8.5/10 – the rare movie that shaped childhoods and still holds up beautifully.
