I managed an hour of Legally Veer before admitting defeat… that’s 60 minutes I’ll never get back.
This feels less like a feature film and more like an extended amateur theatre production that somehow secured theatrical release.
The acting proves uniformly dreadful. The debutant lead possesses neither charisma nor basic screen presence, delivering lines with the conviction of someone reading a grocery list. The supporting cast fares no better, stumbling through scenes with wooden performances that would embarrass community theatre groups.
The narrative, such as it exists, wanders aimlessly without purpose or momentum. Worse still, the film interrupts its already glacial pacing with unnecessary, poorly shot songs that feel lifted from some other, equally terrible production. The low-budget aesthetic permeates everything – cheap sets, harsh lighting, and compositional choices that suggest profound inexperience.
Those suspicious 10/10 reviews? Absolute fabrications. This remains utterly avoidable cinema that insults viewers’ time and intelligence.
2.5/10 – Genuinely painful viewing experience.
