Kill packs a serious punch as an action thriller and had all the makings of a top-tier action thriller – stellar acting across the board, a gripping story, and razor-sharp script that hooks you from the start.
But man, the editing lets it down hard; it could’ve been epic if they’d slashed about 30 min from the middle. The third act should’ve kicked in around the one-hour mark and wrapped up strong in 20 min, but instead, the second half drags on endlessly, leaving you just wishing for the credits to roll. What starts as a pulse-pounding ride turns into a slog, squandering its potential.
Lakshya does full justice to his intense lead role, Raghav Juyal is very convincing as the loose cannon villain with manic edge, and Ashish Vidyarthi brings real gravitas and layered depth to his character.
Still, it’s good overall at 6.5/10, but tighter pacing could’ve pushed it to a 9/10 beast. Worth a watch for the raw energy and thrills, but brace for an hour long climax.
