Khel Khel Mein is a remake of the Italian hit Perfetti Sconosciuti – the phone-sharing game that exposes secrets among friends. This desi version keeps you watchable till the credits with some laughs and relatable chaos as lies unravel at a wedding bash.
Akshay Kumar’s okay in mischief-maker mode, Ammy Virk holds strong with Punjabi punch, and it’s great seeing Fardeen Khan nail a nuanced comeback after years away. Taapsee brings early energy, but overall acting stays average – and Chitrangda Singh’s guest spot feels totally wasted.
The revelations hit fun highs, blending humor and heart decently, but unnecessary songs drag the pace, some scenes stretch needlessly, and that unbelievable ending? It balloons over 20 min of forced redemption when a sharp 5-min wrap could’ve sealed it tighter.
At 6/10, it’s quite entertaining for a lazy stream – light secrets, no heavy stakes – but could’ve bitten harder.
