I went into Eternity expecting it to be a drag, and I’m genuinely glad I gave it a chance.

The first 20 min hook you immediately, setting up the premise with warmth and emotional clarity. The next half hour continues to work well, balancing charm, humor, and reflection without overstaying its welcome.

Yes, the film becomes partly predictable in the later stretch, but it remains enjoyable because it understands its emotional core. What looks like a love triangle is actually something more subtle: two complete love stories, each valid in its own way, rather than a cheap “choice between men.” That distinction matters, and it gives the film unexpected maturity.

The final 10 min provide a fitting, gentle conclusion that leaves you feeling content rather than manipulated. Strong performances, a humane script, and a surprisingly effective structure make this a quiet winner.

7.5/10: I walked away feeling good… and that’s not nothing.
