Bloated Universe-Building Kills the Story

Singham Again is watchable but utterly useless – a bloated mess that squanders its massive budget and star power.

The first half is a complete disaster, wasting time on unnecessary character introductions just to build the “Cop Universe” instead of telling an actual story. By the second half, when it attempts a Ramayana-inspired narrative, it’s too late… cheesy action scenes and glaring script inconsistencies sink any momentum.

Everything is painfully predictable. The Kashmir-Sri Lanka setup falls completely flat with zero tension or stakes. Ranveer Singh provides solid comedy in the second half, but there’s little viewing interest remaining after the disastrous opening hour doomed the film.

At 2.5 hours, this feels like franchise obligation rather than actual filmmaking. Even Rohit Shetty’s trademark spectacle can’t salvage such poor storytelling.

A generous 5/10… technically watchable, narratively pointless. Skip unless you’re a die-hard franchise completist.
