All Roads Lead to Bloodshed
IMDb rating: 8/10
Ep 5 “Cleaning Up” is where the action finally explodes – and it’s worth the wait.
This episode throws everything into the blender: Tearney’s ruthless power play, Duffy’s siege, and Lamb’s desperate rescue mission. The tension is relentless, with River, Louisa, and Sean trapped in a grenade-filled shootout, while Lamb and Catherine face off against Hobbs in a cliffhanger last stand. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and the pacing is razor-sharp.
The only misstep? The whisky chat between Tearney and Taverner feels a tad overindulgent in an otherwise lean episode.
But with 8.5/10 execution – brutal action, high-stakes betrayals – this sets up the finale perfectly. The humour’s dialed back, but the raw intensity more than makes up for it.
