Duck, Cover, and Laugh
“Volcano” delivers another dose of South Park’s signature absurdity and sharp satire. The episode is packed with hilarious moments… from the duck-and-cover volcano advice to Chef’s desire to sing a song called LAVA.
The one-liner “cartoons kick ass” alone is worth the watch. Add in fishing with grenades and the legendary debut of Jimbo, and you’ve got a wacky, unforgettable ride. The pacing might still feel a bit early-season, but the humour and creativity more than make up for it.
A 7.5/10 episode that’s as ridiculous as it is entertaining.
