Death, Diarrhea, and a Euthanasia Debate
“Death” is a standout early South Park episode that blends dark humour with sharp social commentary.
The introduction of Terrance & Phillip – and the parents’ outrage over their toilet humour – feels almost prophetic of today’s cancel culture debates. Meanwhile, Grandpa Marsh’s euthanasia subplot is both hilarious and surprisingly thoughtful.
The toilet jokes steal the show, especially Kenny’s explosive diarrhea and the iconic lines: “Were you making gravy in there?” and “No, I just had a brown baby boy.”
The episode’s absurdity and wit make it an 8.5/10 gem, proving that South Park was ahead of its time from the very beginning.
