Streisand’s Ego Explodes (Literally)
Ep 12 “Mecha-Streisand” swings between hilarious and hit-or-miss.
The Mecha-Godzilla crossover with Barbra Streisand is ultra-creative and a standout moment, blending absurdity with pop culture in classic South Park fashion. Robert Smith from The Cure adds a fun, unexpected twist, and the battle against Mecha-Streisand is packed with clever gags.
Some jokes might fly over your head if like me you’re not deeply familiar with Streisand, but the sheer absurdity of the premise – giant robots, ego-driven villains, and a diamond of doom – makes it a memorable ride.
7/10: A solid mix of hits and near-misses.
