Necrophilia Notes, No Upset
Ep 10 “Korn’s Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery” is a fun, weird Scooby-Doo love letter with South Park teeth. The band’s groovy personas clash perfectly with their nu-metal rage, and the mystery structure stays tight.
But that cemetery watchmen scene? Brutal genius. They describe graphic necrophilia in detail while insisting “we don’t want to upset you” – peak South Park hypocrisy satire. Kenny’s ED-209 suit, Cartman’s Banderas doll chaos, Priest Maxi’s meltdown – all hit. It doesn’t overstay its welcome, and the “Falling Away from Me” debut still slaps.
If you like your Halloween episodes with a side of WTF, this delivers.
7.5/10: Silly, sharp, and unapologetically dumb-smart.
