Schnapps, Slavery, Shenanigans
I quite liked Ep 14 “The Red Badge of Gayness.” Cartman as General Lee, the schnapps-fueled Confederate takeover, the Clinton blackmail… it’s dumb-smart satire that never overplays its hand.
Yeah, American shows love to exaggerate their miniscule history and sugarcoat it into myth, and this episode leans into that absurdity without apologizing. The slavery loophole ending is a clean, logical punchline. Kenny gets shot by a flare, Grandpa quietly fixes things, Cartman gets outmaneuvered by actual law.
7.5/10: It’s straightforward, funny, and doesn’t overexplain itself.
