Ep 17 “Worldwide Recorder Concert” picks on one of the most controversial topics – incest – and delivers it in a way only South Park can: dark, absurd, and weirdly thoughtful.
The scene where people debate when it’s okay to have sex with your mom or dad if there’s a gun involved? Brutal and hilarious. Actually, no – the best part was everyone on Earth crapping their pants the second the brown note hits. Actually, no… Mr. Garrison’s dad trauma inversion, Kenny’s death-by-defecation, the New York kids getting owned, Kenny G implicated in childhood abuse… it all works because it doesn’t try to be deep.
Just funny, weird, and unapologetic. 8.5/10 for me.
