I think the main storyline about Kyle’s kidney failure is just okay, failing to deliver the massive laughs or hard-hitting satire I usually expect. Thankfully, the frantic subplots completely save the day and provide pure, chaotic gold!
I absolutely lost it watching a suspended Mr. Garrison chase his dream of becoming a romance novelist by penning an aggressively explicit bestseller.
But the absolute best part of the entire episode is that brilliantly unhinged Cherokee hair tampons commercial parody, which completely nails the utter absurdity of New Age holistic marketing scams. Even with a slower central plot, Garrison’s literary career and Cartman getting outsmarted by fine print make this a wild, highly entertaining ride! 7.5/10.
