Not an All-Time Classic, But Still Fun as Hell
Honestly, this is just a totally fun, middle-of-the-road episode that coasted on the show’s standard high quality without ever doing anything truly mind-blowing.
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved watching Cartman force the guys into a boy band just because of a bizarre dream from God, but the real MVP here is Randy. His completely unhinged, glass-shattering breakdown over his secret pop-star past cracked me up. The playground ignorance surrounding their highly explicit group name is classic, and Timmy’s terrible camera work is gold.
6.5/10: It might not stand out as an all-time legendary masterpiece, but between the catchy original tunes and Randy saving the mall gig, it is still a highly entertaining watch.
