Cartman’s Televangelist Masterclass
Cartman turning into a full-blown, corrupt televangelist preacher is hands down the absolute best part of this second half. Honestly, I really wish they had expanded his evangelical scam even more because watching him run that massive, fraudulent cathedral while screaming for donations was pure comedic gold.
Unfortunately, the Satan/Saddam/Chris romantic drama still felt like a major distraction from the main plot. Don’t get me wrong, it definitely had a few moments of decent humour – like Satan tossing Saddam to a wholesome Mormon Heaven as the ultimate punishment – but it was never truly exceptional.
It’s a solid 7/10 conclusion, but Cartman’s unhinged church cult definitely carried the weight of the episode.
