The CCTV Questions Get More Interesting
IMDb rating: 8/10
After a strong opener, Ep 2 is where The Capture really starts to separate itself from a routine police thriller.
The first half is engaging enough, focusing on the immediate fallout from the previous episode, but it is the second half that elevates the series. The tension steadily builds as new questions emerge and the investigation becomes far more complicated than it initially appeared.
What impressed me most was how the episode shifts from a straightforward crime story into something much more intriguing without feeling forced. The mystery surrounding the CCTV evidence becomes increasingly compelling, and the show does a good job of making the audience question what they are seeing.
The pacing improves significantly as the episode progresses, with several developments that create genuine suspense and make it difficult not to continue watching.
7.5/10: The performances remain solid across the board, and by the end I was far more invested in the central mystery than I was after Ep 1.
