Stress, Shoes, and Deadpan Gold
IMDb rating: 8/10
This was hilarious and easily better than the opener. The shoe plot and the absurd corporate stress class are top-end funny, and watching them crash into each other is pure comedic gold.
Chris O’Dowd is the real star here. His timing and those subtle, deadpan expressions do all the heavy lifting. He makes the mundane office chaos feel incredibly real and ridiculously funny at the same time.
There is no wasted dialogue and no filler. Just sharp, relentless writing that actually delivers on the hype. It’s exactly the kind of tight, character-driven comedy I want to watch, and it proves this show isn’t just resting on its premise. 8.5/10.
